I had the pleasure of working with the Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF) on several events this summer that included their Titans of Technology event, IT Executive Council events, Round table discussion, Tech Trek, Member Orientation, Tech Tuesday Networking Happy Hour and my favorite the Professional Women’s Network.
For those of you not familiar with this organization, the TBTF is dedicated to growing and promoting Tampa Bay’s technology “eco-system.” Through events, education, networking, advocacy, and philanthropy programs, they provide targeted forums to bring technology and business leaders, investors, government, researchers and educators together.
I truly enjoyed working their incredibly passionate staff and executive board members and strongly encourage all IT Professionals to get involved and of course become a member! Visit their website for more information www.tbtf.org
Here’s a few of my favorite pictures from the events.
The Professional Women’s Network featured Michelle McKenna-Doyle, CIO of the NFL and had nearly 400 people in attendance! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers supported this event and their mascot Captain Fear and cheerleaders were on hand to take pictures with the attendees. At this event I learned that only 9% of CIOs are women so we need to encourage young women to pursue careers in STEM!
Tech Trek: We visited Valpak headquarters, Vology and Connectwise. Here’s a great pic of machines hard at work at Valpak printing coupons!
Tech Tuesday Networking Happy Hour at Blue Martini was packed with 160 IT professionals! I especially loved creating this Hawaiian logo with our graphic designer.
