This past weekend I hosted a Donut Pajama Party for my very own little princess who turned 3 years old and received a ton of compliments on how fun and original this idea was so I thought I’d share these ideas so you too can host a Donut Pajama Party for your little one!!
I started by finding a local donut vendor that could come on site and make fresh donuts at my home that the kids could then decorate with frosting and sprinkles. Here in Tampa I found Disco Donuts known mainly for being a staple at local food truck events. Disco Donuts brought their vendor cart on site and made mini donuts for the kids (and Adults) to order. It was a huge hit and super delicious!
I then focused on decor. Being that the party was at my home I really wanted the space to look festive so I hopped online to my favorite party website www.orientaltrading.com and to my surprise I found a ton of donut related decor and favors… SCORE! I purchased donut garland, inflatable donuts that came in assorted colors, donut plates, donut centerpieces, baker hats for the kids when they decorated their donuts, sprinkle lanterns and a variety of favors for the goodie bags.
Next I started planning the menu. The party took place at 10:30 A.M on a Sunday so I went with brunch type food including bagels and cream cheese, cereal, assorted quiche, yogurt parfait, egg sandwiches and hash browns. For the kids I had vintage milk jugs from Michaels with cute straws and chocolate and strawberry syrup. And… because I never throw a party without a little booze, the adults could make their own mimosas with OJ, Pineapple or Pomegranate juice.
I knew the kids would be on a sugar high so I wanted to do something different than cake and decided to go with cake pops instead. I reached out to an amazing local cake pop baker called A Taste to Remember and had these ADORABLE Donut Cake Pops made. Not only were they adorable but they were honestly the most moist delicious cake pops I’ve ever had!!

The invite encouraged the kids to wear their favorite pajamas to the party too… check it out![/paragraph] [/one_half] [one_half extra=””] [heading size=”h3″ extra=””]Donut Signage[/heading] [paragraph extra=””]
I also found some cute signage too! DONUT GROW UP![/paragraph] [/one_half]
Last but not least I booked a bounce house and face painter to keep the kiddos entertained and bought donut pajamas at Target for the birthday girl!
Thankfully the weather cooperated and we had a perfect day!
CHEERS!
